Henderson’s Tree Service is a close-knit team of professional Vermont Tree Care Arborists and horticulturalists defined by their passion for the work, thoughtfulness, efficiency, client-focus and reliability.

At Hendersons we are committed to the professional development of our staff in Arboriculture, Horticulture and Safety.

Because tree work can be dangerous, we take extra precautions to select the right equipment for each job, to follow best practices and to allocate the appropriate amount of time and people. This uncompromising attention to safety is a result of first-hand experience in the industry since 1985.

We actively pursue educational opportunities through workshops, conferences, and professional organizations so that we remain current with the best practices, standards, and developments in our fields. On-the-job training is provided and supplemented by Arbor Master in areas such as safety, pruning and climbing techniques. Many of our staff members have professional accreditation’s and certifications: Certified Arborist, Master Gardener, Certified Tree Care Professional. Our Vermont Tree Care Arborists have years of experience and are like our extended family.

	JIM HENDERSON Tree Whisperer, Owner, Founder, Arborist Jim discovered the joy and freedom of working in the trees in 1979, and started Henderson’s Tree Service in 1985. He considers his customers “clients” and his employees “family.”
	SYLVIA PROVOST Master Gardner, Horticulturalist, Artist, Educator BA, Education – 19 years in Public Education. S.O.U.L. (Stewardship of Urban Landscaping) graduate. Co-owner and head designer, she has loved working with flowers since she was a little girl. A graduate of UVM with 20 years teaching, she left her school to pursue a life filled with color, light, and laughter in the gardens. She is a Master Gardener, horticulturalist, artist, and lover of life in all its forms.
	JOE ISA Certified Arborist, Accomplished Tree Climber, ArborMaster Certifications. BS, Hotel Management In the trees since 1995. A temporary job helping a cousin in North Carolina turned into a love of forestry.
