Landscaping – Before and After

 

Below are before and after pictures of recent projects – 2 residential properties in the Upper Valley.  Note that the project designs incorporated stonework such as patios, walkways and walls, as well detailed landscape plantings for four seasons of interest.

 


 

South side of the house provided spaces for herb gardens near the kitchen door.  The new stone entry wall directs and separates the driveway area from the private patio and defines the gardens beyond.

Landscaping improved important views from the home with the addition of a natural stone retaining wall framing seasonal plantings.

The landscape master plan incorporated a new stone staircase and plantings with four seasons of interest.  Removal of existing plantings opened up views of the house on approach from driveway.

Former herb and vegetable garden was being shaded by maturing trees.  The landscape master plan relocated the herb garden to a sunny location and close to the kitchen for easy access.  The design called for a pathway to a stone patio used for family gatherings.Henderson's Tree Service
